Its interesting to see the US moving from a screen scraping technology to using APIs, something that is already main stream in Europe and definitely much more secure. I would also like to see more power for the customer. Like with Google, you can easily see what services have what access to your account, something like this for consumers bank accounts would be great.

I think it is a good move for the indsutry though but aggregation will become commoditised and its hard to monetise on its own.
